What Does York SU Provide for Ratified Student Groups?

Dedicated staff support and resources

Societies and media groups, volunteering projects, sports clubs, college sport and college committees all have their own full-time staff member to support them, alongside their relevant Sabbatical Officer, and other operational staff. 

Groups also have access to online training modules and resources, which are full of information and how-to guides for student group management.

Financial accounts and  support

Our Finance team provides you with accounts and systems to manage your group’s money in a safe and legal way.

Grant funding

There are various grants on offer which eligible student groups can apply for to support their activities.
