Re-ratification is the compulsory process where your committee update their documentation for the year ahead, and plans an AGM to elect your incoming committee.
Many groups hold their AGMs in March, before, or during, the ratification window.
Watch our re-ratification walkthrough session below, to introduce you to the basics of re-ratification!
Alternatively, you can access a transcribed version of this video on Zoom, by following our link and inputting the following passcode:

This year, we are holding two windows for re-ratification, a priority window and a secondary window. This will allow any groups who tend to hold an AGM slightly outside of the traditional re-ratification window to upload one load of documentation, to ease admin for committees.
When: 09:00 16 March- 17:00 13 April
Who for?: All groups who have held their annual general meetings (AGMs) before the 13 April
Incoming committee dashboard access uploaded: 4 May 2026
Memberships for 2026/27 uploaded: 1 August
When: 09:00 11 May- 17:00 12 June
Who for?: All other groups who have not yet ratified!
Committee dashboard access given by: 26 June 2026
Memberships for 2026/27 uploaded: 1 August
Ideally, we would love most groups to ratify in the priority window, so that we can get your committee set up for the year ahead as quickly as possible.
The secondary window is only for those groups holding their AGMs after 17:00 on 13 April 2026, when our priority wave ends.
All societies will recieve an email on the 16 March at 09:00, with all templates and forms needed to complete re-ratification. We will also be updating our ratification page on this site, so keep an eye out for that!
