Minimum Requirements for Student Groups

The Minimum Requirements for Student Groups to be considered active are:

1. The group must ratify annually by the deadline provided by York SU.

   1. • Full Committee List, Constitution, Risk Assessment, Inventory etc.

2. All Committee members of the group have paid membership.

3. Every Student Group must have at minimum:

   1. • a President/Chair

      • a Secretary

      • a Treasurer.

4. All Signatories completed the online training.

5. All student groups must have a minimum of 10 members.

   1. • Societies with fewer than 10 members will be required to provide proof of consistent activity when asked (minimum 3 meetings/activities/events per term)

6. Adhere to the Room Usage Policy and Societies Code of Conduct.
