Sports Forums were introduced in 25/26 as part of the mandatory training cycle for Sports Club Committee Leaders and members. The aim of the forums is to upskill and increase knowledge around specific important topics such as Trans Inclusion in Sport and Active Bystander training along with knowledge for the day to day running of your club.
We ask that one representative from your club attends each forum to ensure that the information can then be relayed to the rest of your club. We understand there may be times when someone cannot attend and we ask that you email sportsadmin@yorksu.org if this is the case.
As stated at the beginning of the year, it is very important that some attends and attendance is monitored at each session. If you miss more than one forum then this will impact club grant release in January and possibly into the next academic year.
Sanctions will be communicated with clubs directly if they are impacted and the sanctions are at the discretion of the Sports Committee.
