Digital Tools

As well as the Member Dashboard, you have access to the Google Workspace suite and a few other tools. This section has all the details and a few useful tips.

Adobe Express and Firefly

If you wish to use services such as Adobe Express or Adobe Firefly then you are able to create a free personal account which allows you access to those tools.

To create a free account:

• Head to https://www.adobe.com/uk/

• Click the Sign in button in the top right

• Just under the Sign in title will be “New user? Create an account”, click the link on the page

• You can sign up with social accounts such as Google or entering an email and password into the field below

  • We recommend you sign in with Google as this will keep your group’s email connected to all of your services and applications

• After choosing a method of signing up then you will be able to enter a first name, last name and date of birth

  • Some examples: first name - Test, last name - Society, date of birth - September 1963 (first academic year of the Student Union)

• You can now access the free services that Adobe offers

Adobe CC Subscription

For paid  applications such as Photoshop or Premiere Pro you will have to get in contact with our IT Team (it@yorksu.org), we can provide a discounted quote for you to join our subscription.
