Along with the huge annual Welcome Fair, we support the marketing of your events and provide you with opportunities to showcase your society to the University and local community.
Student Group Representation:
Sabbatical Officers (Sabbs)
Our Sabbatical Officers are voted in by you every February in our annual York SU Elections, to improve student life at York. You can find out more about our Sabbatical Officers and their manifestos on our York SU page!
Representative Committees
Each type of student group (societies, media groups, sports clubs, volunteering projects, and college JCRCs/CSAs) has its own committee of elected representatives. They decide on new group applications and grant allocations, resolve conflicts, and raise issues experienced by their groups to York SU and the University.
