York Sport Union Committee
All York Sport Union Clubs are represented by the York Sport Union Committee. The Committee votes on new sports club applications, decides grant allocations, and feeds back to York SU on any issues sports clubs are facing. York SU's Sports Coordinator supports the Committee's work and takes minutes of meetings.
York Sport Union Committee is chaired by the Sports Officer and consists of the following people:

Committee members will:
Represent the views of their allocated sports clubs to the Sports Officer and York Sport Union Committee.
Represent specific clubs in their allocation in decision-making processes, including approving grant applications and ratifying new Sports Clubs.
Mentor clubs in their category with regards to their season, Roses and anything else deemed as appropriate.
Be a point of contact for clubs within their category via email.
Attend three York Sport Union Committee meetings per semester.
Seek opportunities for collaboration between clubs in their allocation.
Collect feedback (positive and negative!) from all of clubs within their allocation.
Convey information to all clubs in their allocation as directed.
Suggest opportunities for clubs to promote themselves to new members.
York Sport Union Committee meets every three weeks and its minutes are available online.
